Zen Internet has today launched ZenADSL Move, which is a new product designed to make it both easier and FREE to move your broadband connection from one location to another (e.g. moving house):
Rochdale-based Zen Internet, one of the UK's leading Internet Service Providers (ISP), today announced that it was easing the hassle of moving premises for loyal customers by waiving the £50 activation fee normally needed to set up new ADSL accounts. Zen will also make it easier for customers to transfer their ADSL connection when they move business premises or house by managing the whole transfer process free of charge. The launch of ZenADSL Move follows a customer satisfaction survey carried out by Zen, which found that the majority of respondents listed moving as the reason they gave up their ZenADSL account.
Currently, when customers move premises, whether it is a home or business move, ADSL accounts cannot be automatically transferred because they are tied to the physical telephone line. Fourteen days notice is needed to cancel an account, and on moving into new buildings customers then have to order a brand new account and pay a £50 activation fee.
As a reward to loyal customers who want to stay connected to Zen, and to reduce the already stressful experience of moving, Zen Internet will handle the whole transfer process from start to finish free of charge, and will waive the £50 activation fee to existing customers. Existing customers will no longer feel they need to shop around for a new provider merely because they have moved location.
