ADSLGuide reports that, following a deal between BT and the East of England Development Agency, eight previously unviable exchanges in the region will be upgraded to support broadband ADSL and SDSL services:
The exchanges to be enabled will be Broadfield, Hertfordshire; Burnt Fen, Suffolk; Higham, Suffolk; Knarr Cross, Cambridgeshire; Brandon Creek, Norfolk; Nordelph, Norfolk; Linstead, Suffolk; and Six Mile Bottom in Cambridgeshire.The upgrades are to begin sometime during the summer months and be completed by the end of October this year.
