PlusNet Standardises 2Mbps Speeds

PlusNet has today made 2Mbps a standard speed across their broadband ADSL packages. Setup costs have also been waived for residential customers:
Broadband Plus gets a speed boost, with 2Mb for just £14.99. This high speed service is great value for anyone who wants a broadband connection for surfing, email, shopping and keeping in touch. Broadband Plus offers a 50:1 contention on the PlusNet network matching BTs contention at the exchange.
Broadband PAYG is still excellent value if you want to use fast broadband occasionally and control how much or how little you use and spend. This is a premium service offering a 30:1 contention on the PlusNet network whereas BTs contention at the exchange is at 50:1.
For the ultimate broadband experience, Broadband Premier now offers 2Mb for only £21.99, and without a set usage limit! Its perfect for experienced broadband customers who want a premium quality service for a fixed monthly cost. Broadband Premier offers a 30:1 contention on the PlusNet network whereas BTs contention at the exchange is at 50:1.
The high speed theme continues with 4Mb and 8Mb products offered under every product group, but with limited availability for now. We are working hard to ensure that we can bring wider coverage as quickly as possible; in the meanwhile you can choose to save your place in the queue if you want!
