AOL Suffers Tuesday E-Mail Outage

Several thousand customers (1%) of ISP AOL UK found themselves unable to send or receive e-mail yesterday when essential maintenance work in the USA caused UK servers to fall over. The provider has since fixed and apologised for the problems.
