HomeChoice Launches Line Rental

HomeChoice (Video Networks) has expanded its broadband Internet/Video-on-Demand service by introducing line rental through BTs Wholesale Access product (WA). In other words, it's cheaper:
The Homechoice line rental and call packages will be priced from £10 per month:
a) Homechoice Line with Freetime Calls offers unlimited inclusive local and national calls on evenings and weekends for £10 per month
b) Homechoice Line with Anytime Calls offers unlimited anytime calls to local and national numbers:
o £15 per month when subscribing to Homechoices Max Speed (up to 8Mb) or 2Mb internet product
o £17 per month when subscribing to Homechoice 1Mb internet product

The line rental product offers Homechoice customers exceptional value for money. For example, a Homechoice Max Speed or 2Mb customer subscribing to Homechoice Line with Anytime Calls will save £126 per year compared to BTs Together Option 3, £126 per year compared to Telewests Talk Unlimited and £120 compared to NTLs Talk Unlimited 24.
In addition, Homechoice can now provide its customers with a single bill, contact number and monthly payment, making its proposition more rounded and complete.
Homechoice plans to provide a landline service through fully unbundling BT local loops in 2006.
