MS Internet Explorer 7 Beta Goes Public

Microsoft has released the first public beta (2) of its Internet Explorer 7 website browser, which can be downloaded for testing HERE. The new version is quite different from the original and looks more like Firefox than IE6.
However we'd suggest avoiding beta versions like this since IE is very heavily linked into the Windows OS. IE7 Beta 2 Preview will only run on WinXP SP2 systems, but will ultimately be available for Windows Vista, Windows XP Pro x64 Edition and Windows Server 2003.
