BT has furnished us with an update regarding the now ceased ISP Euro1Net. There's nothing new in the release except to confirm what has happened so far:
Termination of BT Wholesale IPstream services for Advanced Data Services (Europe) Limited (trading as Euro1Net)
On 21/08/06 BT Wholesale took action to terminate IPstream services supplied to Advanced Data Services (Europe) Limited (trading as Euro1Net). This was for the non-payment of invoices.
As at 13.00 21/08/06 BTW redirected all of ADS broadband customers (approx 5500 End Users) to a BTW webpage, where they were informed that their service was in the process of being ceased, due to the non-payment of invoices by ADS.
The webpage informed End Users that the cease process would take 14 days, at which time they would be free to initiate the process for obtaining a new broadband service.
Following the successful completion of the cease process we are pleased to confirm that End Users are now free to initiate the process of obtaining their new broadband service.
To assist End Users with their search for a new provider they can find a comprehensive list of service providers at the following website: http://www.btwholesale.com/get_broadband/index.html .
