Customers of ISP
Garner Digital, many of which were part of the original Gio Internet > Customnet fiasco, have been told by the ISP's supplier (Netservices) that Garner has entered administration. The news follows several weeks of connection and support problems.
It's understood that users are once again being pushed (migrated) onto yet another small and relatively unknown ISP -
http://www.pulse8internet.com .
Unfortunately NetServices refuse to issue MAC (migration) codes to individuals and have become pass masters at moving people between their own vISP's, offering little, if any, user choice.
Meanwhile Ofcom continues to drag its feet when it comes to implementing a MANDATORY MAC code policy upon providers and suppliers, something that consumers desperately need.
We can only feel for those that have now gone through four ISP's, starting with Gio Internet, moving to CustomNet, then onto Garner and now Pulse8.
