Nildram has today begun offering charities a new way of raising funds. The initiative enables not-for-profit organisations to offer their members broadband services, while having a proportion of the monthly fee donated back to help with fundraising:
The scheme is easy to set up and involves practically zero effort from the charity as Nildram organises the entire programme. For every home or business broadband connection a member signs up to through Nildram, an agreed proportion of the monthly cost is automatically donated to that members charity by Nildram. The charity reaps the rewards in the form of a continuous stream of donations.
"All kinds of charities, particularly smaller and local ones, are faced with high competition levels from bigger and renowned organisations," comments Sean Stephenson, managing director at Nildram. "The initiative is designed to help these smaller charities and working with Nildram can help them ensure regular, monthly donations."
"We are delighted to be involved with many great causes and we hope this programme will grow further. We are not limiting the scheme to just charities - this will work with any membership based organisation where funds are needed, such as small football clubs or youth organisations," Stephenson adds. For more information, visit
