Tiscali Eyeing Pipex For British Expansion?

Tiscali's Chief Financial Officer, Massimo Cristofori, has stated that the ISP is at the "very preliminary stage" of considering Pipex for acquisition. It's understood that Tiscali, which has had to deal with its own sale rumours, could use the rival provider for further expansion into the British market.
Cristofori is confident that Tiscali could burden any debt incurred by such a purchase. No further details have been released, although customers of Pipex and its related ISP's may be alarmed at the prospect of Tiscali taking over.
