The UK broadband and mobile phone operator
Orange has lost its CEO, Sanjiv Ahuja. He has been replaced by Olaf Swantee (formerly Compaq's vice president of customer services), although Ahuja will remain on as a chairman.
Sanjiv Ahuja had originally set out to integrate
Orange with the France Telecom Group, which has since been completed. However some felt that Ahuja had spent so much time integrating the two that he ended up neglecting other areas.
It will be interesting to see whether
Orange now moves to bolster its position with a reorganisation of products and services.
