Telecom Plus (trading as The Utility Warehouse) has partnered up with F-Secure to offer their customers Internet security by monthly subscription. Broadband and dial-up users can now buy F-Secure Internet Security for up to three PCs in the home:
Simon Thompson, Product Manager at Telecom Plus, said, The Utility Warehouse provides people with better value and better service by combining all their main utilities (gas, electricity, broadband, mobile and fixed telephony) onto a single monthly bill. Adding Internet Security to our portfolio means our Internet subscribers now have a cost effective way to surf the web safely without a long-term commitment or the upfront cost of purchasing a package.
Thompson continued, F-Secure has not only provided us with an excellent Internet security solution for our customers, but also an easy way to integrate their product into our delivery and billing systems, making life easier for the households that use our service.
Telecoms Plus will be offering F-Secure Internet Security to all its Utility Warehouse customers, who will be able to try before they buy with a 30-day no-obligation free trial. After 30 days, they will be given the option to purchase the security solution by way of a monthly subscription.
Sadly no price information was included in the press release.
