Former and existing customers of Biscit (
V21) will be pleased to learn that the ISP's recent "
cheque bouncing" fun was indeed a small error and nothing more sinister. Speaking in response to our highlighting of this issue yesterday, Hugh Paterson clarified:
"This is being overblown. We closed one of our bank accounts. Unfortunately, five cheques were issued by accounts as refunds on the day before the account was closed. New cheques have/are being issued from an active account. There's no mystery."
It's unclear how long those awaiting a corrected refund will have to wait until a new cheque is issued. The original piece can be read
here.
