NTL has reported its second quarter results today, which saw broadband cable modem subscribers jump from 1,443,200 during Q1 to 1,555,000 in Q2-2005.
Metered dial-up customers continued to diminish from 486,500 (Q1) to 436,500 (Q2). Unmetered dial-up followed suit by dropping from 202,000 (Q1) to 173,300 (Q2). The fall is not uncommon, with most simply upgrading from dialup to broadband.
