The 24Mbps broadband ADSL2+ ISP, 'Be', is one of ten new members joining the London Internet Exchange (LINX). In related news, research company Telegeography found that London is the largest international hub city on the Internet.
The Global Internet Geography report found that there is 1.1 terabits per second of international Internet bandwith available on connections terminating in London. Peak traffic in and out of the city stands at the 436 gigabits per second mark.
LINX's newest members are based across Europe and are Bogons Ltd, Be Unlimited, Scan Plus, Eweka, RealROOT, Multiplay, Brightview, Eaton Kaye Ltd, Smart Telecom and Poundhost.
Membership of LINX will enable the new members to extend further their services and improve connectivity with other operators.
