IDC Sees Continued Broadband Boom

The IDC has predicted that by 2009 some 46% (92m) of west European households will have broadband, up from 20% (40m) at the end of 2004. 83% of these will be provided to the residential market. In 2009, basic broadband access services will represent a $37 billion revenue opportunity in Western Europe.
