Those watching the BBC's Watchdog program last night can't have failed to spot the piece covering
Bulldog. The much troubled ISP also too flak from an 'insider' source, which claimed the management knew of the problems, but didn't do enough:
"If you were passionate about Customer Service then you wouldn't sign up a single customer until you were confident you could provide them with an adequate level of service. But we are still signing people up today, we are still advertising. We can't set people up quickly enough. We have got problems with the people that have been set up but we are carrying on regardless."The provider also admitted to there being roughly 20,000 subscribers whom are still stuck without a connection. Much of the blame for this aspect has been placed firmly at the feet of BT for not completing them fast enough.
Comments from
Bulldog itself regarding the suspension of its marketing and increased support staff numbers will be nothing new to ISP Review readers.
Presently we're not receiving as many
Bulldog complaints as before, yet they do still come in and mostly from those still stuck without a connection, trying to resolve billing problems or having trouble with customer support.
