UK ISP PlusNet has launched a unique 90-day satisfaction guarantee for consumers wishing to switch from their current broadband provider:
New customers who migrate to PlusNets Broadband Your Way package from another broadband provider can take 90 days to try the service. If the customer is not satisfied within 90 days and chooses to cancel their broadband subscription, PlusNet will refund the customers entire subscription.
PlusNets consumer products, priced from £9.99, are then provided on a one-month contract after the 90 day period is complete. The guarantee is available on all consumer products, with speeds up-to 8Mb and 24/7 UK based support by phone and online.
Weve introduced this simple satisfaction guarantee because were proud and confident about our broadband service in comparison with other products on the market, said Neil Armstrong, Products Director at PlusNet. We already offer a one-month contract which makes PlusNet a confident choice for anyone who isnt currently happy with their current provider. We know customers stay with PlusNet because they are happy, not because they are tied into long contracts.
PlusNet has also launched an offer to its existing customers to reward them for recommending the service. For every recommendation that customers make they will receive a one-off payment of up to £25 as well as discounts from their monthly subscription.
The move forms part of what appears to be a promising push by PlusNet to repair some of the damage done to its image through recent service problems and e-mail mishaps.
