Vodafone is to cut the cost of its 3G (mobile) broadband data card service from £45 to £25 per month (3GB usage allowance) +vat. The service, which isn't to be confused with their mobile phone based Internet surfing package, can also be purchased at £8.50 +vat for 24 hours of access (500MB usage allowance).
The changes will be introduced from 2nd July next month and those signing up to an 18-month contract will also receive a free data card. Customers that already have such a card can claim a £50 rebate. Thats not too shabby by comparison to some packages.
