New ISPreview Survey / Poll

Posted: 01st Jun, 2007 By: MarkJ
We've just uploaded a new poll, which asks: "Does your ISP use traffic management or shaping technology?". Results from the previous month’s poll on Wi-Fi radiation can be found below:

Is Wi-Fi dangerous to human health?
No - 49.4%
Unsure - 38.5%
Yes - 11.9%

Do you use Wi-Fi?
Yes - 78.3%
No - 21.6%

Total Votes = 969

Typically nobody can be 100% sure whether Wi-Fi radiation is dangerous or not, yet to date there has been no strong evidence saying it is. The vast majority of people (78%) that responded use Wi-Fi, with half not believing it to be dangerous.

Just 12% actually thought Wi-Fi to be dangerous, while 38% couldn’t be certain either way. There’s clearly enough concern and uncertainty for a proper study to be needed.
