UK ISP
Pipex has launched a new budget price broadband ADSL package from £8.95 per month for the first three months, and £14.99 per month thereafter -
Pipex Mini.
The package offers speeds of up to 8Mbps and a 2GB data usage cap, not to mention a lengthy 12 month contract:
New customers will also receive a free wireless router, enabling them to simultaneously connect up to six PCs or laptops in their homes and gardens. They can also opt to take advantage of free evening and weekend calls with
Pipex Hometime telephone package.
Dominic Crolla, managing director of
Pipexs residential division, says:
This offer provides a very compelling option for customers. Recently recognised as a top five provider by uSwitch and Epitiro for customer satisfaction and technical performance, were able to give customers the best of both worlds.
The bonus of a free router will make it even easier for new users to enjoy the benefits of going wireless, Crolla continues.
The special offer is available for two months from 18 July 2007 and is subject to a 12-month contract. BT line required. For full terms and conditions, please visit
http://www.pipex.co.uk or call free on 0800 056 6234.
Tiscali recently acquired
Pipex for a cool £210m, subject to approval. The new package, which is similar to Tiscali's own products, could be seen as laying the ground work for more forthcoming changes.
Its understood that Tiscali intends to transfer
Pipexs customers onto its own network in the future, although how this will affect existing packages is unclear. Customers that pay for the service provided by
Pipex,
Nildram and
Bulldog etc. would like to see them stay intact.
