UK ISP Virgin.net has celebrated the signing up of its 100,000th broadband customer by dropping their 512Kbps activation fee and offering a free modem to new users. The promotion is valid until 9th March next week:
Those that sign up before 31 March will be entered into a prize draw to win a trip for four people to the Caribbean, worth £5,000.
Virgin.net offers a choice of two 512Kbps packages; Plan 2 costs £17.99 a month and limits surfers to a 3GB monthly download usage limit and Plan 1 costs £24.99 but offers unlimited surfing.More @
