UPDATE:Added "n/a" into the second part for those answering "no". Our simple survey for this month asks a couple of questions about whether or not any of you have a home network. Results from the previous month can be found below:
Which is more important for ADSL in 2005? Cheaper - 49.9% Faster Speeds - 35.3% Better Migration - 6.6% Coverage - 5.6% Multimedia Content - 2.4%
Total Votes = 1080
It seems that whenever an option for something to be cheaper is presented, people will always vote for it. In this case, almost exactly half (50%) felt that ADSL still needed to get cheaper.
We were expecting 'Migration' (7%) to come higher on the list, although it was pushed into a low 3rd by the need for faster speeds (35%). ISP's remain quite divided on the pros and cons of going faster, although clearly there's some demand for it.
Unsurprisingly Coverage, which is now quite good, along with Multimedia Content came last. Newer content services will need to do something special if they're to attract the pockets of broadband surfers.
