Telewest / NTL Merger For 2005?

The Guardian newspaper has reported on speculation that the UK's two largest cable operators, NTL & Telewest, will officially start merger talks in 2005. The news is based off shareholder hints, which point to talks beginning after TW's restructure and the sale of NTL's broadcast unit.
