Broadcom and Atheros have successfully produced the first next-gen Wi-Fi (802.11n) product capable of operating at speeds on and over 100Mbps (versus 54Mbps for 802.11g). Don't go hunting for 802.11n kit just yet though, the standard has yet to be ratified and this can mean compatibility problems with early hardware.
