UPDATE: Whispers that AOL may also be in the frame. Broadband & IPTV ISP Homechoice (Video Networks) has had a well concealed 'for sale' sign hung around its neck for awhile now, yet an interesting exchange of words at this years IPTV World Forum suggests that a buyer may have been found.
Reliable sources indicate that Video Network's hinted to Yahoo! that google were about to buy them. We also note that AOL may now be in the frame.
It seems like a rather unusual thing to say in public, although it could perhaps be designed to rustle up further bidding competition. Take with a pinch of salt.
