ADSLGuide carries the word that some readers have been expecting for awhile now; little known broadband provider '
Evolution DSL' has closed.
The ISP, which we never listed due to various reader concerns, had been attempting to offer a true unlimited 8Mbps broadband ADSL product for just £24.99 per month.
Customers have now been given until 6th June 2006 to leave before the ISP closes. The statement on their site reads:
Update 23nd May 2006 Due to circumstances beyond our control we will be ending ADSL service on or around the 6th June. MACs are in the process of being requested and will be emailed to your primary email address. You can change this email address by logging into Customer account page (form above) with your RADIUS username and password. The MAC will also be available from that page. It's unclear exactly why the ISP has been forced to close, although attempting to offer a truly unrestricted 'up to' 8Mbps product for £24.99 per month is a good way to go about it.
