Homechoice Boost Broadband Speed

Posted: 24th Feb, 2006 By: MarkJ
Homechoice is to double broadband speeds for its 1Mb and 2Mb customers. The increase in speeds will happen for existing customers automatically from March 1st 2006 and comes at no extra cost:

Homechoice’s broadband is part of a triple play package that also includes digital TV, video on-demand and the option to take free evening and weekend calls, giving customers the best in home entertainment through one little set top box.

Customers can now benefit from the following speeds:

* 1Mb will move up to 2Mb complete with over 30 digital channels and access to over 1,000 movies on-demand with packages available from £17.99 a month

* 2Mb customers will now receive up to 4Mb for only £22.99 a month plus their TV package.

The new Internet services will allow customers to enjoy ever faster file download speeds so downloading a full music track can take as little as 3 seconds.

Roger Lynch, Chairman & CEO, Video Networks Ltd. said: “The upgrades continue to demonstrate our commitment to providing the best service for our digital home network customers. These new speeds are available to new and existing customers – so everyone benefits”.
