Troubled UK ISP EzeeDSL, which many may remember for its role in the controversial NetServices/Biscit (
V21) dispute, has issued a new news update. It would appear as if they've finally managed to begin migrating trapped ex-
V21 users onto their network:
Important Announcement to former V.21 customers!
Dear Valued customer we are delighted to advise you that we are now ready to migrate your service to the ezeeDSL network, migrations will begin on Thursday 25th January and we will begin upgrades on Friday 26th January for customers who have purchased upgrades or are due to receive one.
We thank you for your patience during this process and look forward to our customer receiving continual improvement to their services.
We are aware however that there are a small number of customers who are still awaiting upgraded services since signing up with ezeeDSL. We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused and to ensure that you do not suffer financially for any delays we are offering a refund between the service you contracted for and the service you are receiving until your upgrade is complete.
To claim this refund, simply print out this claim form, fill in your details and post it to us and we will ensure that your next payment reflects this.
We hope that during 2007 ezeeDSL will prove to be a premier service provider for you and that you enjoy all the benefits which we provide.
Those that have been stuck in limbo between two ISP's for such a long time are unlikely to be totally pleased, but it's better than dieing of hyperthermia after running around naked outside, we think. Hopefully things improve for all those that have been so poorly treated by the providers involved.
