ITV is preparing to relaunch its £20m broadband TV (IPTV) service at the end of March this year. The changes will allow broadband connected users to view most of its television broadcasts for free as well as 1,000 hours from their archives.
The broadcaster is hoping to compete directly with the BBC and Channel4, which have both leapt ahead of ITV over the past couple of years. We look forward to seeing quite how popular these new alternative methods of viewing TV become. No doubt this will further strain the networks of UK ISP's.
