The Carphone Warehouse to Stock O2 Takeaway Broadband

The Carphone Warehouse is to start stocking a special 'takeaway' land-line broadband package from O2 (Be Broadband) in the coming weeks. Customers will be able to buy broadband for £30 and install it when they please. The initial £30 will be credited to the first broadband bill.

Readers may recall that O2’s "broadband-in-a-box" was originally revealed at the end of July (news), details of which have been re-pasted below:

The O2 Home Broadband takeaway box will contain:

O2 Wireless Router box II
Set up CD
Quick start guide
Power supply
DSL cable
2 Broadband filters
Ethernet cable

It's likely that O2 may extend its takeaway broadband product to additional retail outlets, depending on success.
