Orbital Net Brings 45Mbps WiMAX Wireless to Folkestone

Orbital Net, a small Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) ISP with bases in Kent and London, has extended its newer WiMAX network to include coverage of businesses in the Folkestone area.
The rollout should be fully completed by the end of July and its service promises to deliver symmetrical speeds of up to 45Mbps. However, this is only the speed delivered to Orbital's PoP's (Points of Presence) and individual user connections will reach a maximum of 34Mbps.
