PCPro Magazine reports that one in every four of T-Mobile's new customers are taking up
Mobile Broadband services.
The operators survey suggests that we are becoming a national of Internet addicts, with nearly half of the respondents believing they should be able to take the Internet everywhere:
"Consumers are used to taking their laptops out and about with them and they expect to be connected - whether that's in the garden, at the office or in the park," says Richard Warmsley, head of internet and entertainment services at T-Mobile.
One in five people would like access to the Internet while relaxing at the beach. Similarly, 37% of office workers felt that the mobile Internet should allow them more flexibility to work outside of the office, though few employers would probably allow that.
