UK ISP Fast.co.uk has today responded to an increasingly competitive market by raising the monthly usage (download) caps on their Broadband Max (‘up to’ 8Mbps) products for both new and existing customers with immediate effect.

The providers Max 2GB product becomes 5GB, Max 15GB becomes 20GB, the Max 40GB product changes to 45GB and finally the Max 100GB product becomes 110GB. Contract terms, pricing and service levels remain unchanged.

We've also been informed that it will probably take the ISP a few days to roll out the increased usage allowances to existing customers, though many are already understood to be benefitting.
