Customers of
T-Mobile's Web'n'Walk '
Mobile Broadband' (HSPA) packages in the north of England were hit by a 12 hour outage during Monday night. Reports on
The Register indicate that the problems began after a switch at Barnsley failed, causing a serious power failure.
For its part, T-Mobile claims that "
disruption to customers was minimised because of the timing of the power failure" and offered no apology. However, some customers claim that the problems lasted far longer than T-Mobile's stated 12 hours, with several pointing to the outage having started on Sunday.
