Strategy Analytics has just published a new survey into UK broadband satisfaction and customer churn for the second half of 2008. The survey suggests that, despite high self-reported customer satisfaction, nearly two-thirds of subscribers would be willing to switch ISPs, if given the right offer.
The results revealed that speed was the most important factor for most consumers, beating price into second place. Interestingly one of our own surveys (
here) during 2008 also revealed that speed (performance) caused the most (41.5%) frustration among consumers.
Finally the survey also reported that
Sky Broadband customers had the highest service satisfaction levels, with roughly 87% claiming to be "somewhat" or "very" pleased with the provider. Sadly the full survey is commercial and thus we have no further details.
