MacAce, a UK ISP dedicated towards serving consumers with Apple MAC computers, has become the latest provider to launch a new range of 'up to' 24Mbps (1Mbps uploads) ADSL2+ based broadband services over
BT's 21CN network (not unbundled). We note that all of the new packages include free "
UNLIMITED" off-peak usage between the hours of 12 midnight and 6am.
Prices for the new 24Mbps packages start at £19.49 inc. VAT for MacAce's
AlwaysOn|lite service, which includes a peak-time data allowance of 10GigaByte's (GB), 1GB of webspace, 5 email accounts and a £46 setup fee for new connections (migration is free).
Elsewhere the ISP has also launched a range of bundled phone line rental and broadband packages, which cost from £27.99 inc. VAT per month for an 8Mbps service or £30.99 if you combine line rental with the 24Mbps package outlined above.
