ICUK has informed us that all new and existing customers should now benefit from having more data transfer flexibility. The changes apparently came into force at the beginning of this month:
The data caps will count during peak hours usage, and only downloads will contribute. This means off-peak usage and uploads will not be counted towards your capped product.
Off-peak usage will be subject to a 100GB fair usage allowance per month.
Peak hours will be classed as 08:00 through to 19:59, and off-peak hours between 20:00 through to 07:59. This applies 7 day a week. Our control panels will clearly show you how much you are downloading (peak and off-peak) and warnings will be sent via email if you are likely to exceed your peak caps with the various options.
