Entanet has today joined a number of other UK ISPs by officially launching their own "
opinion site" (blog), which has been designed to provoke discussion on the industry's hot topics.
In reality the blog has been around for awhile, albeit not widely publicised. Initial articles cover Entanet's opinions on the new 'Communications Data Bill', iPlayer usage and the digital divide, among other things:
Commenting on the new website, Entanets Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, said:
Opinion.enta.net provides readers with a valuable insight into what we think of and how we tackle the issues that affect our partners and their customers. Our aim is for the site to become a conduit for discussion so that we can equally understand what others think about these issues.
Sadly it does not yet appear to cover internal developments like other blogs, although we'd hope they might expand in that direction at a later date. Entanet currently supplies several of the UK's more popular vISPs with broadband services (ADSL24,
Aquiss etc.).
