Isle of Man ISP Wi-Manx Removes Broadband Caps

Wi-Manx Limited, a WiMAX based Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband ISP based on the Isle of Man, has begun offering its users the possibility to remove their usage caps from within the customer portal. Wi-Manx is also offering new customers a FREE connection (normally £47.00) until 31st December 2008:

Instant broadband cap-removal
It is now possible to remove the broadband cap instantly from within the customer portal. The system will advise how much it will cost and provide the customer with three choices:

* Instant removal when the payment is made using debit\credit card.
* Instant removal when the customer pays using direct-debit.
* Standard, next-working day request.

In related news customers can now login to their customer portal and make account payments using their debit\credit card. Payments are handled by the UK based payments provider Protx.
