Virgin Media has detailed its new
Mobile Broadband service, which was first revealed as part of the operators second quarter results in August. The service will cost £15 per month and includes a 3GB (GigaByte) data usage allowance; each additional GB over the limit will cost £15 extra. Naturally there is also an 18 month minimum contract term to consider, which is fairly standard.
Virgin Media are also offering a special discount on their broadband services when customers take the
Mobile Broadband and XL cable broadband packages together. Under this arrangement the
Mobile Broadband service will be FREE for the first three months, while the XL package will be reduced to £29 a month for 3 months, then £44 a month after that.
