Business ISP
FibreCity has been acquired by Masternaut Three X (MTX), a web-based telematics and mobile solutions company. The acquisition will allow MTX to provide more extended hosted back-office solutions:
Commenting on FibreCity's capabilities and skills sets, Martin Port said: 'FibreCity has an interesting range of Blue Chip customer such as Aga Rayburn, BAE Systems, Fired Earth and NASA. The ISP has also been providing us with first-class secure hosting for Masternaut Three X applications. We have always been impressed by Brannan and Craig's attitude to business and customer service. This acquisition is the right thing for us at a time when we are enjoying phenomenal success and growth. We are pleased that we have been able to complete this deal with them and we look forward to adding their competencies and support to the team.'
Brannan Tempest added: 'Masternaut Three X has an enviable reputation in its marketplace, and we saw an opportunity to sell the business to an organisation that can build on what Fibre City has achieved since its establishment. An exit from Fibre City will allow us to focus on other opportunities and interests.'
In addition, the deal has enabled Masternaut Three X to expand its premises to over 25,000 sq ft and its team 150.
