Plusnet's Charitable Broadband Donations

Posted: 12th Mar, 2008 By: MarkJ
UK ISP Plusnet has pledged to donate up to £50 to the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity for all new broadband customers and an additional £15 for Home Phone Anytime+ signups:

New customers just need to name Sheffield Children’s Hospital (username: schospital) when asked during signup who recommended PlusNet to them.

Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Trust is one of only eight specialist children's hospitals in the country and represents a unique combination of facilities, expertise and understanding.

“As a Sheffield-based company, the Children’s Hospital is close to our hearts,” said Neil Armstrong, products director, PlusNet. “We're hoping that customers will help us support the hospital and we'll be able to donate a significant amount of money.”

PlusNet is hoping to raise over £10,000 for the charity in March, and will also participate in the Hospital’s 10k run in April.
