Sheffield Theatres Gain Wireless Broadband

Sheffield's Lyceum, Studio and Crucible Theatres have been given the broadband wireless treatment thanks to a new deal with On-Communications, a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network developer.
The first FWA service provides all Internet and data connectivity for Sheffield Theatres, enabling it to support its own email servers and busy web site. The connection from On-Communications has replaced two standard SDSL connections that could not keep pace with Sheffield Theatres growing demand.
