Tiscali's TV Trends Report 2008 has revealed that 37% of British consumers are now regularly watching on-demand content, which is nearly double what it was 12 months ago. The ISP, keen to promote its own broadband TV (IPTV) services, notes that 57% of respondents still believe such products to be too expensive.
Interesting most viewers (58%) used on-demand services to catch up on programs they've missed, 39% used it to avoid schedule clashes and 49% to make TV viewing more flexible. Meanwhile 62% still preferred to watch on-demand content via their TV, with the remaining 38% using a computer.
