BT has today launched its new Internet phone (VoIP) service specifically for UK SMEs - 'BT Business Broadband Voice':
Subscribers simply plug BTs Broadband Voice box into their high-speed internet connection and then use a standard telephone handset to make calls, rather than having to connect via a computer. This means that internet calls can be made from anywhere that has a broadband connection, enabling employees to keep the same number, whether theyre working from the office or remotely.
Also, BTs new service allows customer to use their broadband connections to reduce costs for multiple business lines. On average, Broadband Voice offers customers a 64 per cent saving over second line rental*.
Connection is free if ordered before January 17 2005 (usual price £40). For full terms and conditions, see www.bt.com/business/broadbandvoice
Call rates similar to BT Business Plan 250, excluding daytime rate for local/national geographic calls, which is 3.5ppm, with free calls to other 05 numbers for the first three months, if ordered before January 17, 2005. UK local and national calls cost no more than 10p for up to an hour. For full pricing information, see www.bt.com/business/broadbandvoice
Line rental is £5 a month for the first three months if ordered before January 17 2005 (usual price £10 a month for two additional virtual lines). For full terms and conditions, see www.bt.com/business/broadbandvoice
