Telewest has made its
blueyonder broadband pricing easier to understand by separating it from other cable-based voice and TV package offers. For example, the 256Kbps option now costs £17.99 per month no matter how you buy it (use to be £19.99 on its own):
The cable company previously offered a dual pricing structure, with savings available to consumers who also signed-up for a telephone line or a digital TV service. For example, monthly fees for the entry-level blueyonder broadband 256Kb service were £17.99 per month when taken with additional cable services, or £19.99 as a solo service.
A high proportion of the company's broadband customers already benefit by taking a bundle of services from one provider, but the higher solo prices have now been dropped to make choosing the appropriate package as simple as possible. The new pricing structure is as follows:
blueyonder broadband 256Kb - £17.99 per month
blueyonder broadband 750Kb - £25 per month
blueyonder broadband 1.5Mb - £35 per month
blueyonder broadband 3Mb - £50 per month
All the tiers of service remain free of set-up costs or usage caps.
