BT Hikes Offline Order Prices For ADSL

Posted: 05th Nov, 2004 By: MarkJ
Those using the telephone to place an order for one of BT Retail's broadband services (BTB, BTYahoo! etc.) would do well to try and do so online instead of offline.

UK-Bug states that, due to BT's own resources problems and in an effort to promote online ordering, the operator has increased hardware prices for packages ordered via the phone:

Order via the telephone, and pay £40 for the Voyager105/205. Order online, and get it free.

So everybody that's trying to get online for the first time, while seeking a broadband connection, gets penalised.
