UK ISP
Wanadoo has reported "
calls flooding in from interested consumers", which relates to the providers recently launched budget ADSL service and echos similar news from
Plusnet:
Wanadoo's new £17.99/month 1Mb offer has taken the market by storm, with calls flooding in from interested consumers since its launch on Wednesday. Hardly surprising, when it's the best offer on the market for high speed Broadband from any UK player - over £50 less for 12 months of 1Mb with Wanadoo than with PlusNet's £14.99 1Mb, as Wanadoo offers free modem and connection - unlike PlusNet.
Wanadoo 1Mb - £215.88 (£17.99/month + free connection + free USB modem)
PlusNet basic 1Mb - £273.62/year (£14.99/month + £58.75 connection + £34.99 USB modem)
