Eclipse Offer 1 Months Free ADSL

Posted: 13th Aug, 2004 By: MarkJ
ISP Eclipse Internet has begun offering one months free "speed boosting" to anybody that joins their broadband ADSL Internet access package during the Olympics. The promotion applies to its FLEX Broadband product range:

OLYMPIC FIRST

Award-winning innovative broadband provider Eclipse Internet is the only provider currently offering 'boostable' broadband speeds. In celebration of the Olympics the company is offering a free month of speed boosting to all its new FLEX Broadband customers who sign up during the games*. The offer will allow users to take advantage of faster broadband speeds at a fraction of the normal price - ideal for downloading coverage of their favourite events. There are also no download limits or hidden charges on the FLEX service which is an added bonus.

Launched at the beginning of June, Eclipse's FLEX Broadband product family is proving extremely popular with the company's rapidly expanding customer-base. For as little as an hour, FLEX customers can boost their speed up to 1000 or 2000Kbps (depending on which service they use) simply by logging into their account and hitting the speed boost button on the Eclipse web site. Boosting usually incurs an hourly fee but all customers who sign up during the Olympics will get a free month of flexing from their activation date.

Commenting on the offer, Mark Lang, MD and founder of Eclipse Internet said, "The Olympic Games is about being the 'highest, strongest or swiftest'. It was felt that this was a fitting platform for Eclipse to offer new customers to FLEX Broadband the opportunity to boost their broadband speed to the fastest available on their line, with no extra charge."

Mark Lang, added "People who have signed up for FLEX Broadband since its launch in June have found the ability to boost their speed a real winner. By making this service available free to new FLEX broadband users we are giving them all the opportunity to explore, discover and experience the Internet at much faster speeds than they would ordinarily do, and at a fraction of the cost. The promotion will be ideal for watching your favourite events at the Olympics on the Internet as well as experiencing faster connection speeds for other purposes such as downloading large files. As well as sports fans, we envisage the offer will be particularly attractive to people using their broadband to work from home."
